Large
I have the favourites bar showing in IE6 and one of the favourites I have edited to launch Outlook Express, this is how . . . file:///C:/Program%20Files/Outlook%20Express/msimn.exe Now I called the favourite 'Check Email', so that when I clicked on it in IE6 it launched Outlook Express or that what I wanted it to do. But . . . . . instead when I click the favourite it brings up the Save / Open dialogue box, if I click on Open it works, it will open Outlook express but what I need to know is there a key switch that I can add to the end of my file:/// command to select open automatically so it doesn't bring up the Save / Open Box. I hope that makes sense. Many Regards Andy
Fili
How did u add the toolbar? by a reg file? try using the gpedit.msc then user configuration - Windows Settings - IE Maintenance - Browser UI. Then click on browser toolbar customizations its a better way to add them.and then u just click browse and pick the outlook express exe. Hope this helps
yashiro
Why not just drag 'n' drop a shorcut to Outlook Express into your Favorites pane while its open? This works for me without any probs. You seem to be going about this the hard way..
