nikhil500 Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 If you go to Taskbar and Start Menu Properties and enable Hide Inactive Icons, then the Customize button becomes Enabled. On clicking it, I get a list of all icons that were ever present on my Notification Area. Specially annoying are the listing for files I downloaded using GetRight. Dazzla Veteran Posted March 22, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 22, 2004 Found it :cool: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify Delete "IconStreams" and "PastIconsStream" and you have to restart explorer. Either by logging off/restarting or manually ending and restarting explorer.exe in task manager.
