v00d00efx
this is a very unusual problem. explorer.exe randomly sucks up cpu and memory usage resulting in 100% cpu usage. the computer becomes very laggy and unstable to use. when starting up fresh explorer.exe only uses 2 to 10% of cpu and only around 20mb of ram, but after a while it jumps to 50 to 60% of cpu and about 60mb of ram. it seems that pressing the back and forward button between windows and playing any type of videos can cause this. im not really sure though. i know there are others that have the same problem as i do. kaffra
yea i get the same thing, mostly more than 100 mb ram. the only thing that helps so far is to end process explorer. then start it again. I get this while browsing network and sometimes after playing an .avi file
