Win98 icon transparency?

Is there a way to possibly make the icons in 98se transparent without using WindowBlinds?

is there a way to edit the registry or and .htt file or something?

Get Transparent Desktop Icon Labels or Transparent Icons (direct link). There are other such utilities out there as well.

Desktop Architect is a good one but it is not for Windows XP.

system tray hider is better

it hides system tray icons and also allows u to change the icon in the start button also transparent desktop icons

Search for a soft called TransText, from ChaosSoft. It works great on Win95 and 98. Good luck, bro.

i know that win 98 has no transparency option for icons but i wanna ask that how this happens ? (no programs used for this, in fact this is just a hidden file just moved to desktop)

if this can be then maybe i can force other icons to look like that.

can anyone tell me the way ?

That file is transparent because its a "hidden" file you can right click and change any file to be hidden.

Im wondering if anyone knows a registry change or app that would let me remove icon text all together. It would be much cooler to have just the icons on my desktop.
