Toxikk Veteran Posted March 3, 2002 Veteran Share Posted March 3, 2002 good decision my friend. 1 of 2 things you could do: 1. if that is enough to buy what you want (apple-wise), sell the pc and buy the apple or 2. if you can do this: sell the pc and put that down towards a "loan" by apple. you will then pay mothly payments on it. more info on that is here. just put in the amount and it will tell you what your payments you will be per mth. out of curiosity, what are you thinking about getting? hope this helped you in one way or another... -tox Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wtmcgee Posted March 6, 2002 Share Posted March 6, 2002 welcome to the promised land :) if you want to get a dual g4, 1ghz - it's gonna cost ya. so you'll have to sell your PC and still save up about a grand to get that beast... but it'll be worth it. i have a g4 powerbook, and the new iMac is on it's way in a week or so.... just make sure you know what you're getting into. get it because you'll make use of it, not just cause it's "pretty" -although it is :D basically, it'd be terrible to get a new computer and realize... hey cant DO anything with this! i'm sure you'll be in love as soon as you get it though.
