0 Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 1, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 1, 2002 Just set up apache with php on your own machine and test it yourself. No need to go out and host it elsewhere....
0 Hypercube
Though you can host the server, you can try tripod.co.uk, it offers php+mysql. Note Tripod.com does not!
0 neodesignian
Thanx a lot!!! It really helped me. About Apache. I heard that it is somehow unstable under windows... can you give me an advice about that, too???
0 zivan56
I've been running php/apache/perl/mysql on windows 2000 for 2 years now, no stability problems so far. If you want easy setup try PHPDev . All you do is download the zip and extract it to c:phpdev and run the batch file.
0 Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 1, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 1, 2002 It's stable on my end and I run it 24/7 Just get 1.3.24 if you're running XP. Fixes a bug with dynamic pages loading properly...
