Site in the works

I recently got engaged and I'm putting together a site with info for friends/family/guests. I got the menu up and working today. It'll only work in IE5.5 though. I've yet to put in the javascript to detect the browser to send it to an alt menu. Anyway, I put these menu logos up as placeholders. I'm trying to decide on a style for the menu. Does anyone have any input? It would be greatly appreciated.

anyways, i think it would look better across the bottom of the top bar and remove that blue bar where it is now and center the content. (over 500px wide of content is hard to read)

why does it only work in ie 5.5? not really that hard to code for them all in one shot

well.. I used M$'s variant of DHTML... because I could get it to fade out like I liked it. I'm definitely trimming the blue bar down. I know it's too large. I'm not going to have a wealth of content, and I need something along the side I figure to help frame the page. Each page there is just going to have a few things on it... but it's something my fiance' would like for me to do.

ouch that script uses filters.

altough off the top of my head i can't really think of a way to do fading cross browser, unless you use flash.

women! hehe.

if you want flash i'll do it for you as a wedding present :p

I have Flash 4.0... but never had the time to learn to program a menu in it. I'd be forever grateful man... that's what I originally wanted. :) Thanks!
