Problems opening VIDEO_TS with DVD Shrink

Question

I have problems opening many of my VIDEO_TS with DVD Shrink.

I get this error message: DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid data in file x:\VTS_01_1.VOB

I have tried many of my VIDEO_TS folders, but the same error on almost all of them.

Anyone who can help me fix this? So I can burn this movies on a dvd.

Yeah, I must say, I get that a lot too.. ended up using IFOedit to create the dvd iso and dvd decrypter to burn it.

But if anyone knows why dvd shrink does that, I would like to know how to fix it as well.

Not sure, never had that problem.

Did you get it from here http://www.mpucoder.com/derrow/ ?

You can see from that screenshot, you open the main ifo and along the bottom is the button 'disc image', that should end up making the iso for you. The site above also has a few links to guides, so you can use one of those if you need help.

Looks like the new Sony copy protection, you need

DVDdecrypter3.5.1 or later

VOBblanker

DVDShrink

1. Rip the DVD with DVDdecrypter

2. Run VOBblanker on the ripped stuff

3. Now you can use DVDshrink on the newly created VOBblanker output

Thanks for that, next time I run something I'll try that VOBblanker :)
