xreyuk Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Seeing as I do about 30,000 miles a year for work, I'm driving a diesel. A 2010, 1.6TDI Seat Leon Ecomotive is my weapon of choice. I bought it in March 2012 with 3,500 miles on it, and it currently has 42,600 on it. During the time I've owned it, I've averaged 62.6mpg, but that's doing 70mph on the motorway. TDT Posted August 26, 2013 Share Posted August 26, 2013 Moved on to something bigger. Right now I drive a Peugeot 407, 2.0Hdi engine, 136 HP. It's a FANTASTIC car. I get about 7-8 l / 100 km in the city and 5 outside. Also, it's very, very comfortable, has lots of space and it's fast! :) I never believed the 407 could be such a great car, but now I would recommend it to anyone (the 2.0 engine, because the 1.6 it's too small and the petrol engines don't worth mentioning). I also drove a Gallardo, but it didn't have near the amount of balls that the F430 had. The RWD lets you push a crazy amount of G's into a corner. Loved it.
