I noticed there was a locked topic about a new build that might be comming out on friday, but the OP had no evidence to give. I found something that might hint at him actually telling the truth though. I just noticed that a a new build of the Windows Driver Foundation beta that came out on the 4th: Build 5033 (the WFG builds correspond to Longhorn builds; the previous build was 4085). Of course this is just speculation... I'm not claiming anything will happen.

Actually, according to some previous information, we should still be getting a M9 alpha build before the first beta.

So? That was an official released based on a fairly recent build of Longhorn. The topic you're relating to suggests a "leak" not an official release. 5033 isn't the latest build and there will be no official release of a Longhorn build on Friday, whether or not a build leaks in the near future is another topic of discussion.

So once again we close the thread to stop stupid rumours flying around
