Dazzla Veteran Posted May 27, 2002 Veteran Share Posted May 27, 2002 I was using RC2 very happily and it worked fine, this morning I decided to upgrade to RC3. Now when I'm browsing neowin, it randomly throws up quirks. One of them is instead of opening a page, it will offer to download a .php file. Another is sometimes when viewing a page, instead of actually showing the page it will show a smiley, or an avatar or a sig; that's it. Blank page with a picture. Another is pictures are getting muddled up, the smiley's get mixed up, here's an example: I'm on OS X.

yashiro
Strange. Mozilla RC3/Win32 running fine here. I can only suggest removing Mozilla completely and doing a fresh install of RC3. (Keep your profile though, this should be OK) I spoke too soon. Now mine is broken :(
Hypercube
Strange how it treats php as a file, not a web doc. It works great on win32 :)

Dazzla Veteran Posted May 28, 2002 Author Veteran Share Posted May 28, 2002 No, it's fine where it is. It was a software problem because Omniweb was fine with Neowin. Stays ;)

Redmak Administrators Posted May 28, 2002 Administrators Share Posted May 28, 2002 Dazzla is right. It's not Neowin (it never is :p). It's that 'crappy' Mozilla (no I like Mozilla really)
