Has Hosttyme implemented a minimum time between requests on the server? Oh, and another thing I've found: if you ever think transfer speeds are slow sometimes take a look at the switch the server is attached to: http://mrtg.datacolo.com/switch1/ Hosttyme's averages are interesting is very interesting. and if you want to see how Neowin has grown since Feb, take a look here.
