As i live in the UK, my collecters edition will not arrive until the 24th :( Anyways i noticed that there wasnt really a proper Elder Scrolls Oblivion Thread, and i thought it deserved one. For all you lucky Americans, some screenshots and experiences from Oblivion would be welcome. In the meantime i guess ill just twiddle my thumbs until the end of the week. The funny thing is I don't have a 360 yet, I was hoping I'd have mine by now, but I'm not about to buy any of those stupid bundles and crap, and I don't want a stupid Core system! So I'm waiting anxiously until the day that I can walk into a store and pick one up for $399. Oye, it will be painful if I get the game before the system! First of all, my graphics card is NOT powerful enough to get anywhere near the graphics quality the 360 can provide. Basically, if you want to get equal graphics between the PC version and the 360 version, you need a $400 graphics card, which is fine if you ALREADY have one, but I don't, so that purchase makes no sense to me since I don't play many PC games anymore. I generally find it more entertaining and engaging to play games, any type of game (except RTS and some obvious others), on a console. I just really like the feeling of using a controller instead of a keyboard/mouse myself. Also, I have a really awesome surround sound system hooked up to my TV in the livingroom, and I'm planning on getting a big-screen HDTV in the near future (seriously considering a 52" JVC HD-ILA). That combination, in my opinion, is far superior to anything I could get from my PC with a 19" monitor and 2.1 speakers. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only reason the one I went to had it is because the manager or something like that drove down to Milwaukee and I guess the game shipped out from Chicago. If they say no I would have asked them to check. what do you mean, bad? can you show a screen shot? I can try I am not at my place (I have 7800 GTX) I have 9800XT on this computer I am at I will have to start a new game and see what happens. I would describe it as you are inside a circle of loaded map as you walk towards the outide of this circle the game will load new data the problem is you can see where this circle stops and the land outside looks bad.
