Slimy Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 Dell today introduced a range of new consumer electronics products aimed at giving customers more choices for creating a multimedia experience at home.Here at DigitalLife--an annual showcase for the latest in consumer technology, gaming, and entertainment--Dell introduced wireless-enabled photo inkjet printers, LCD TVs, a new flat-panel monitor, and a new projector. The company also introduced enhancements to its XPS gaming notebook to improve the experience of playing games on the system, Dell said. What's New New and updated products from Dell introduced at DigitalLife include: the Dell Photo AIO 966 and Photo 926 inkjet printers, which can work either wirelessly or while connected to a computer; the Dell W3707C and W3207C high-definition LCD televisions; the Dell 1800MP projector and E207WFP (wide flat-panel) monitor combo targeted for gaming or for viewing Blu-ray movies or high-definition video; and mobile and high-performance features in the Dell XPS Gaming Notebook, including the nVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX notebook GPU, the ability to tune Intel Core 2 Duo processor performance, and Dell's exclusive XPS LightFX technology, which enables users to synchronize the system lights with supported music or games. In addition, Dell updated its MediaDirect technology with what it calls "instant-office" capabilities. On Dell laptops enhanced with MediaDirect--such as the XPS line and some Inspiron notebooks--users can view presentations, calendars, and contacts, as well as play music and view photos and videos without having to start Windows.
