nominally my theoretical speed is 800KB/s, but in reality i'd say it reches 350-500KB/sec for most sites.

yes, there's lag for some games. notable cases:

DOA4, RSV6 and Lost Planet. COD3 and Def Jam Icon are not a problem, as isn't GoW.

We get a 5 Mb down, 2 Mb up connection.

Strangely, when I download from certain sites, I get around 1 MB/second. I don't understand why it goes faster than the advertised speed. At max, I get around 250 KB/second.

I get almost no lag when I host 14 player games in Rainbow Six Vegas but it used to lag randomly. I would have moments that the internet speed, Xbox and PC, would slow down to a crawl and it would go into hyper lag mode. It hasn't done that in a while though.

I can usually download at ~1.4MB/s on a good quality site, upload ~45KB/s.

I get lag every once in a while, but not very often. I only get lag in games where individuals have host, not a central server.

You should be fine. That's the speed I had when I first bought my 360 and I didn't have any lag.
