if i use all my computers at the same thime i might get that speed but otherwise no only pull 10mbits / computer

first of all yes i agree tiscali do suck, pings speeds are all bad!

second... why are you using the paris server? dublin or london also have servers so surely you would get better speeds their?

well saying that i did a test the other week and some place in france begining with an R gave me the best results

im on 8Mb/s and sometimes get lag but others do share the connection its also connected wirelessly.

yeah but wether i used paris/london it still shouldnt be that bad, its always like this sometimes my box wont even login to XBL nevermind playing a game

actually, i meant its dam fast, ie downloading. Also i do have quite a low ping, so yeah my connection is quite good. Oh and being on a shared connection is not always good, but here surrounded by computer nubs it is. This thread is an e-penis ****ing competition, join in the fun, don't be a hater. Also we are on a tech forum, some people here do know wtf they are talking about, expect that.

I see nothing but a jealous additude in this post, nothing more. That's a pretty damn awesome connection, he HAS to be running on fiber optics or something, you can't get that kind of speed with a regular old copper cable.

As for gaming, I can rarely connect to any matches in any games on Xbox Live, regardless of whether or not I have my cable modem hooked up directly to my 360 or through my router. When I do finally connect, though, gameplay usually seems pretty OK.

yes, hooking up to servers can be a pain, but i think mostly because they get filled up fast and the lobby displays don't reflect that quite in real time. your speeds/latency are more than fine for XBL usage.
