Rossmac Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Yeah same here, I can't log in on my XP install (newly formatted drive) and I get this error. I can log in fine on other computers, including the Vista install on another hard drive of the same computer. I can't access any msn based websites either ie. www.hotmail.com Anyone have an answer, anything searched on Google doesn't work :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thanks in advance Sorry about the bump; I got this error while using the latest Live messenger on more than one pc. It was fixed by going to Advanced in Internet Options in IE 8 and enabling ALL the following: Use SSL 2.0 Use SSL 3.0 Use TLS 1.0 Use TLS 1.1 Use TLS 1.2 Btw Im using Windows 7 rtm & IE 8!
