KitCh Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 Okay basically I have a Buffalo WHR-G125 router and I want to block a certain mac address. However, the option from within the router only allows blocking of wireless attempt connections, and I need to block a LAN connection (by that persons mac address). Does anyone have this router and know how to do this or know of a work around. +BudMan MVC Posted May 27, 2008 MVC Share Posted May 27, 2008 Well since its a wired device he is trying to block, I would assume its a control measure - not allow internet access, that sort of thing. As suggested RTFM If your router does not support the feature(s) your looking for, that model does support dd-wrt. Which will provide a feature for blocking mac address from internet access, etc. Install it or one of the other 3rd party firmwares that router supports.
