Jarik
De-interlace ? In Adobe Premiere under field options is a setting called flicker removal. It essentially combines two fields in to one frame. See if that works.

SinghKing
Magic Bullet Looks is the best one I have come across. It works on CS4 even though it might not say. I've tested it on Vista x64, on both AF n Prem and it works fine. However, it is expensive, but depending how much you do video editing and the kind of editing you do, its worth it. It's also got a lot of templates such as CSI Miami or BadBoy looks if you want warm colour looks.
Warning
Without spending lotsa money on something like Magic Bullet or some other preset plugins, even for the average user of Premiere it is very easy to play around with the footage for a while using the colour correction effects built in. Just the simply colour corrector with a brightness and contrast filter is a really quick way to make things pretty! You can get some really nice colour reproduction getting closer to that lovely film look, but it just depends how "filmic" you want your footage to look. I mean what are you shooting on? Can you shoot Progressive? Do you want a really shallow DOF?
