Nipun Mohta
Halo was one of the reasons why majority of gamers bought Xbox 360 and the rest bought the game later for PC platform. According to an advertisement for a Microsoft job post for a software development engineer at careerbuilder, the developers are said to be working on a new Halo Project. The details posted indicate that this Halo project will be coming for gaming consoles, web and mobile platform.Halo maker, Bungie Studios, is already working on Halo 3: ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper). The ad posted at careerbuilder states "We're looking to blend console, web, and mobile to create an immersive Halo world that follows the dedicated Halo fan wherever they go. We need engineers that can build connected technology while working in a startup environment." The candidate would be part of Microsoft's "Halo game development team" at Microsoft's head quarter at Redmond. The next Halo title after Halo 3: ODST would combine all three platforms console, web (PC) and mobile. What we can think of is Microsoft might be working on integrating the Halo game with Windows Mobile-based phones/Zune, with PC and Xbox 360 console. On second thoughts, Microsoft might actually roll out this new Halo game for iPhone's gaming platform. Who knows till the official word comes for the software giant itself. But seriously, anyone interested should apply for the post. Source
