Hello,

How can I disable "Prefetch" on Windows 7?

I'm not talking about Superfetch but Prefetch.

Thanks

Why would you want to do that?

If you need to ask, you probably shouldn't, but according to Microsoft:

Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters
Name: EnablePrefetcher
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0

And if you do not know what to do with this, you really shouldn't, install more memory instead.
