Yahoo Outage

12 posts in this topic

Anyone else noticing that Yahoo has been down (site and messenger) since about 11:15a (EST) or is it just me?

I've tried the .com and .ca pages.....the rest of the internet seems just fine.

I just moved off comcast DNS to opendns and issue goes away. When I put myself back to the Comcast DNS it returns....

So I guess its Comcast.....

It's not just him. I am in Charleston, SC and I can hardly go anywhere. Most sites will not load at all, some will load partially. Cannot check my e-mail at Bellsouth.net. My Rainmeter will not get the weather, etc.

Just noted that this Neowin page refuses to load all the way.

So because you in SC and someone across the country in PA have an internet related issue it must be connected? Comcast and AT&T DNS I have seem myself (in Florida) to be unreliable. Change your DNS to OpenDNS or Google's public DNS.

I'm on Comcast, I've received a call from someone else on AT&T with this same issue.....

Anyone else on any other ISP.....if you are having this issue...please list who you use for internet....

It seems whatever caused this has been corrected (at least on Comcast) as of 12:10p (EST)
