crazzyyfool
Hello! I've recently bought an eMachines E732z laptop for my parents. Got it from Sainbury's UK for ?299 (now retails at ?469). The laptop itself is great, fast etc. However, one problem is that the sound output from the speakers is very quiet - even at full volume. I've checked Control Panel and Device Manager for volume controls etc and everything is up to the max setting. I've also read reviews online and no-one mentions the sound problem. Not that I can find anyway. Does anyone else have experience with this laptop and the problem with the sound? I haven't reinstalled the audio drivers as yet but if that doesn't resolve the issue, could it be a hardware problem with that particular batch.
Dick Montage
OK, gonna sound like a dick right now, but I know some laptops do silly things like putting a physical volume control on the side too...

Well, it doesn't have a hardware volume control like you mentioned. :pinch:
