E3 2012: Nintendo's E3 press event live blog

Today E3 2012 officially opens its doors but before that happens, we have one more press conference to attend. Nintendo will hold its Wii U event at the Nokia Theater, next door to E3's home of the LA Convention Center. Nintendo is expected to show a lot of Wii U games It will begin at 9 am Pacific time (Noon Eastern time) and we will be live blogging from the event. Stay tuned!

ZombieU is the only interesting thing I've seen thus far, making the controller to actually have more of a sense of purpose than even Nintendo themselves have really shown. I get the feeling that the Wii U will represent this continued trend where Nintendo offers new ways to play, but only a few actually make good use of it.

Oh, and Lego City looks pretty good. Everything else was pretty mediocre looking; at least for me.

Anyone else expecting Miiverse to be full of drawn penises and horrible things being said? Or will there be a filter for a lot of that junk? I'm not sure how that's supposed to work.
