ICQ... none of my friends uses it but i always get spamed by russian spamers... Switched to Skype/Whatsapp/FacebookChat

Talk about memories, it was about 97-98 when I first used this program. I'll never forget that "uh oh" sound when new messages arrived. In fact, I still hear it at the convenience store on the computer that controls the gas pumps.

Exact same thing I could've said! 1997, when I got my first computer and a buddy sent me a link to this thing before I ever got it online, let alone have a clue how to download and install anything.

That "uh-oh" was about as nauseating as AOL's "You Got Mail" Luckily, I've never had the pleasure of using AOL on one of my computers!

Neither of us ever used ICQ very much though. Always thought it odd that everyone I knew who did install it, was ALWAYS invisible!
