Weekend PC Game Deals: The slow season still has worthy highlights

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

As the second year of giveaways continues on the Epic Games Store, replacing the triple game freebie bundle from last week is Sundered: Eldritch Edition by Thunder Lotus Games. The teaser from the previous week originally showed For The King as the next free game, but plans had changed.

Sundered Eldritch Edition is a Metroidvania with hand-drawn visuals where you will be fighting ancient eldritch horrors. If the going gets too tough, It also supports local co-op for up to four players. The game will be free to claim from the Epic Games Store until January 16, which is when the adventure platformer Horace will take its place as the newest freebie.

Humble Store was also giving away a game to celebrate its new Winter Sale, but sadly, the store's stock of games has run out only a day into the promotion.

Free Events

This weekend on the free events front there's a couple of very different games that you can try out. Starting off, the World War II-set tactical shooter Post Scriptum has gone free-to-play again for the weekend. You can try out everything available in this large scale FPS until January 13.
