Xbox Game Pass gaining Journey to the Savage Planet and more in April

During the Inside Xbox presentation of Microsoft today, the Xbox Game Pass subscriptions received a special portion of the show to feature what games are incoming to the multi-platform service in the near future. Some of the announced hits include Journey to the Savage Planet and Football Manager 2020.

As detailed in a new Xbox Wire post, here are the games that have already arrived and soon incoming to the Xbox One and Windows 10 services:

Xbox Game Pass for Console:

  • NieR: Automata Become as Gods Edition - Available now
  • Totally Reliable Delivery Service - Available now
  • Journey to the Savage Planet - April 9
  • Alvastia Chronicles - April 9

Xbox Game Pass for PC:

  • Overcooked! 2 - Available now
  • Football Manager 2020 - Coming soon
  • Alvastia Chronicles - Coming soon
  • Mistover - Coming soon
  • Stranger Things 3: The Game - Coming soon

As for what games will be leaving the service, Microsoft revealed that on April 15, the following games will depart:

  • The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Console)
  • Fez (PC)
  • Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (Console)
  • Into the Breach (PC)
  • MX vs ATV Reflex (Console)
  • Prey (Console & PC)
  • Samurai Showdown II (Console)
  • Valkyria Chronicles (PC)

Moreover, although dates weren't given today, Yakuza Kiwami 2 was name dropped during the Inside Xbox presentation as coming soon to the subscription services. The game might be prepping to land in the latter half of the month, mirroring Yakuza 0's arrival in February. It was also revealed the Xbox Game Pass will soon be available in the South Korean and Japanese regions.
