Acer has unveiled a wave of new AI-powered laptops across its consumer and gaming ranges, all powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 400 Series processors. The new devices span multiple categories, including the Swift, Aspire, and Nitro families, and are designed to deliver Copilot+ PC experiences on Windows 11.
Built on AMD’s Zen 5 architecture, the Ryzen AI 400 Series brings notable gains in performance, efficiency, and on-device AI processing. The tech giant says the new chips significantly enhance productivity, creativity, and everyday responsiveness across its refreshed portfolio.
Leading the announcement is the Acer Swift Go 16 AI, a sleek productivity-focused laptop aimed at professionals and power users. It can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor and AMD Radeon 880M graphics, paired with up to a WUXGA+ OLED display. The Swift Go 16 AI features a laser-etched aluminium chassis with a slim profile and a 180-degree hinge. Internally, it supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
There is also a 5MP IR webcam with HDR support and Human Presence Detection for improved privacy and video calling. Audio is handled by dual DTS:X Ultra speakers with anti-vibration technology. In terms of connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a selection of ports, including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card reader.
Acer is also refreshing its mainstream lineup with the Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI. Both models are powered by up to the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor. The laptops feature WUXGA displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio and refresh rates of up to 120Hz, with optional touch support and OLED panels available. Memory and storage configurations reach up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
The company has focused on comfort and flexibility, equipping both models with large touchpads and 180-degree hinges. Connectivity includes USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 or newer.
For gamers and creators, Acer introduced the Nitro V 16 AI. The laptop can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture. The Nitro V 16 AI features a 16-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display with a 180Hz refresh rate, alongside up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and up to 2TB of SSD storage. NVIDIA’s RTX 50 Series GPUs bring advanced AI capabilities, enhanced ray tracing, and performance boosts via DLSS 4.
In terms of availability, the Swift Go 16 AI launches in North America in Q1 2026 and in EMEA in March 2026. Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI follow in Q2 2026 in North America and in March 2026 in EMEA. Lastly, the Nitro V 16 AI arrives in Q3 2026 in North America and Q2 2026 in EMEA.
