Apple releases iOS 9 beta 5, along with update for watchOS 2 beta

Next month, Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhones, the launch devices for the latest versions of its mobile operating system. The company first showed off iOS 9 back in June, promising a major "intelligence" upgrade for Siri, and new multitasking features that appear to draw inspiration from Microsoft"s Windows 8.

Apple delivered its fourth iOS 9 beta to developers a couple of weeks ago, shortly after rolling out its first public beta. Today, iOS 9 beta 5 made its way to Apple"s Developer site, bumping the latest build up to 13A4325c.

The company also released an updated version of its watchOS 2 beta for the Apple Watch, taking that device up to build 13S5325c.

Apple hasn"t yet announced a specific date for the final rollout of iOS 9, watchOS 2 and OS X El Capitan, which is also in beta.
