Apple seeds third betas of iOS 11.2.5, macOS 10.13.3, watchOS 4.2.2, and tvOS 11.2.5

Today, Apple released the third developer betas for iOS 11.2.5, macOS 10.13.3 High Sierra, watchOS 4.2.2, and tvOS 11.2.5. It"s the first new builds that we"ve seen since mid-December, being that the team took some time off for the holidays.

iOS 11.2.5 build 15D5049a contains a few known issues that have to do with Foundation, Vision, and Xcode. None of them should really affect the end user. Siri will also now play podcasts when you ask for the news, as reported earlier today by 9to5Mac. It defaults to The Washington Post, but you can switch it up to Fox News, NPR, or CNN.

As usual, the release notes for macOS 10.13.3 High Sierra build 17D29a don"t say anything in relation to fixes, known issues, or new features. For watchOS 4.2.2 build 15S5536a, the notes specifically say that there are no known issues, just like it said with the last build. For tvOS 10.2.5 build 15K5544a, it has the same Foundation issue as iOS.

The updates are available now as an OTA if you"re already running the betas. You can always download them from Apple Developer if you need to though. As for when the general public will get them, that"s still up in the air. The current version of iOS and tvOS is still 11.2.1, so it"s possible that updates might arrive between now and when these betas are generally available.
