Black Ops 6, Grounded 2, Riders Republic, and more join Xbox Free Play Days

Microsoft has a massive Free Play Days promotion available for Xbox users this weekend. From the seven games present in the event, five are for Game Pass subscribers, while the remaining duo can be played without any sort of subscription requirement.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can now jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Riders Republic, AEW: Fight Forever, Dovetail Games Euro Fishing, Grounded 2, and Under The Waves. The remaining two games, Riders Republic and Kingdom Two Crowns, are available to all Xbox players. As always, any progress made during the weekend also carries over automatically if you decide to purchase a game afterward.

Treyarch is offering Call of Duty: Black Ops 6"s campaign, multiplayer, and zombies to try during its latest free event. This will last until October 16 as well, giving you an entire week to try last year"s shooter experience.

Keeping to the Microsoft-published games, Grounded 2 lands offering its miniature RPG experience featuring the same teenagers from the previous game, but a couple of years older. The four-player cooperative title is currently in early access. Other highlights include Ubisoft"s extreme sports arcade sim Riders Republic and the wrestling title AEW: Fight Forever, featuring both retro legends and modern icons.

Here are the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)
  • AEW: Fight Forever (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
  • Grounded 2 (Xbox Series X|S, PC)
