Blizzard fixes Diablo III invulnerable Wizard bug

If you have been playing the Wizard character in Diablo III with an exploit that allowed that character to be invulnerable while playing the game, that free ride is over. Blizzard has announced that it has released a hotfix to their recent action-RPG that closes up that exploit.

The exploit was first revealed by a player in the game"s official message boards, including the details on exactly how to make the Wizard character impervious to attacks. Apparently it also keeps other effects, such as frozen, from working on the character.

Blizzard quickly deleted the details of this exploit off the message boards. Later on Monday, the company posted up its own message stating:

We are currently rolling out a hotfix for a recent bug regarding invulnerable Wizards. We will continue to carefully monitor this issue and welcome anyone with information about bugs or hacks to submit a detailed report to our Hacks Team by emailing hacks@blizzard.com, or by completing the Hacks Report web form. In your correspondence, please include any steps necessary to replicate the issue as well as any additional details you are able to provide.

Blizzard has been fixing a number of bugs and issues in Diablo III since the game was officially launched on May 15th.
