New $39.95 combo pack features Battlefield 1942, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons of World War II, and subsequently released content.
The less than a dozen PC gamers who haven"t yet tried Battlefield 1942 now have a new incentive. Electronic Arts is now offering all three installments in the BF1942 franchise in a single package, the Battlefield Anthology.
Priced at a reasonable $39.99, the package will include the latest version of Battlefield 1942 as well as its Road to Rome and Secret Weapons of World War II expansion packs. Also included is a selection of official bonus maps released by EA online, including: Coral Sea, Operation Aberdeen, Battle of Britain, the Philippines, and Caen. The top five player-created maps are also included in the anthology. Rated "T" for Teen, Battlefield Anthology shipped to stores today in North America; no release date has been announced as of press time.
