Fly a plane, just by tilting your ultrabook

Today, Intel announced a lot of content, but something they breezed over was the new gyroscope features in their ultrabook range. They today showed off a device running Google Earth in "fly" mode, where you could control the device in a new way.

In our demonstration below, the plane in the video is controlled by just tilting the device in the direction you wish to send it in. It"s all been seen on phones before, but it"s interesting that the company is trying to push the technology in this form factor.

Will it take off? We"ll have to wait and see. There aren"t many applications that come to mind for this, but hey, if you want to fly around a plane by tilting your laptop, you now can.
