Following leak gaffe, Ubisoft confirms Watch Dogs Legion is coming

It appears the Amazon UK store page leak gaffe of an upcoming Watch Dogs sequel was accurate, as Ubisoft today confirmed Watch Dogs Legion"s existence in a short tweet. This is something it probably would have wanted to keep under wraps until a big reveal on stage at E3.

The full unveiling will still take place at E3, but we already know some information about this London-set third entry from the previous leak. The biggest new feature seems to be that players will be able to control anyone in the game"s open world, with all characters having their own visuals, animations, voice lines, and traits. This is also confirmed on today"s tweet, which has the line "God Save the NPCs."

Ubisoft has plans to unveil and launch four new triple-A games this year, and now with Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Watch Dogs Legion being confirmed, we will have to wait and see what else the French company has planned for its E3 showcase. Hopefully, the company will manage to keep the rest of the announcements under wraps until then.

Ubisoft"s E3 presentation will begin on June 10 at 1PM PT, where we might also see the unveiling of a new game subscription program similar to Origin Access, named Ubisoft Pass.
