The rumors turned out to be true, and Forza Horizon 6 is now official. At Tokyo Game Show 2025, Microsoft and Playground Games revealed the game"s teaser, which shows the franchise"s next location: the long-rumored and highly anticipated Japan.
Forza Horizon 6 currently has no specific release date, and full details remain unknown. What is known is that the game will be released first on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Game Pass subscribers will also get to play the game on day one. As for PlayStation, Playground Games says it is working with Turn 10 Studios on bringing Forza Horizon 6 to the Japanese console post-launch. This will leave Forza Horizon 5 the only Forza game on PlayStation 5 for some time.
Unfortunately, a short teaser is currently all we have. Fans of the franchise will have to wait a little longer, as Playground Games plans to release more details about the game in 2026:
