Microsoft is launching Forza Horizon 6 later this month, sending the festival from Mexico to Japan, a long-requested location for the series. Nearly five years after the previous entry, Playground Games is ready for the next chapter, and the wait is nearly over. Like with the previous three entries, Neowin is playing the game ahead of its launch, so if you have questions about Forza Horizon 6, drop them in the comments, and we will try to answer them in our review.
Our review will be available on Thursday, May 14, at 5 AM PT.
Forza Horizon 6 is coming to PC (the Microsoft Store and Steam) and Xbox Series X|S. Unlike Forza Horizon 5, the sixth installment will not be available on the Xbox One generation. As for PlayStation 5, Forza Horizon 6 is coming to the Japanese console as well, albeit at an unknown date. The game is also a day-one Game Pass release.
Forza Horizon 6 will be available to play on May 19, 2026. Those who preordered the Premium Edition or the upgrade bundle can start playing four days earlier, on May 15.
While you wait for the game to launch, you can check out Neowin's previous reviews of Forza Horizon 3, Forza Horizon 4, and Forza Horizon 5. Also, you can find hardware requirements for the upcoming Forza Horizon 6 here and a list of soundtracks here.
