Google chimes in on Android Wear "recurring reminders" issue

Android Wear 2.0 had something of a rough start when it experienced a bit of delay getting out to the public. After some months, numerous companies have released or announced watches that will be arriving to market with Google"s latest wearable OS.

As the firm continues to update the OS, it appears that one nagging problem might be getting a fix sometime soon. As reported in the Google forums, users have been experiencing an issue where a recurring reminder can be completed without a user"s interaction. This can be quite frustrating, but a Google community manager has now chimed in, stating:

An update on this, we are aware of this issue and working actively to fix it. It should be fixed soon with an update in the Google app. Thanks for your patience and for providing feedback.

While this is a bit of good news, the community manager was not clear as to when exactly this fix will arrive but added that "the time to leave card issue is related to this issue". Users that are affected and want to keep up to date with the situation will want to bookmark the Google link in the source below.
