The Chinese smartphone company, HONOR, has just shared some images teasing the upcoming update to its N Series of devices, which specifically will be the HONOR 600 Series. The images show off some of the key pillars of its upcoming 600 and 600 Pro devices, including their ultra-thin design and tough build, their ability to produce great night photographs, their flagship-level processor, and advanced AI imaging capabilities.

The images all carry the tagline “N Series Elevated”, positioning these phones as a necessary upgrade over existing devices. The first of the images, which has been shared on X, reads “New ultra-thin design, long-lasting endurance, entirely fluid experience.” This suggests the phone will be thin, resistant to drops, and fast.

One area where smartphones tend to struggle, especially mid-range ones, is night photography. With the 600 Series, it looks like you’ll be able to snap night shots with ease. The company says, “See the night. With flagship-level details.” All of this is set against a starry sky, suggesting it could be a decent pick for anyone looking to do a bit of astrophotography.

The third image shows a processing chip with the text “Limitless potential. Fuelled by flagship-level chip.” This ties into the first image, which said the devices provide an “entirely fluid experience.” Finally, the fourth image has images coming out of the screen of the device, accompanied by text reading “Still moment, vividly brought to life by industry-leading AI image experience.”

The second and fourth images show most parts of the phone. The second image shows that the phone has at least two cameras on the rear, while the fourth image gives a fairly clear look at the front and side of the display. It looks like the 600 Series will have a hole-punch camera.

In an email to Neowin, HONOR highlighted a Counterpoint research article that noted Samsung and Xiaomi’s recent flagships had only marginally improved over their predecessors. The analyst said that this provides an opportunity in the Accessible Flagship tier which the 600 Series will be squarely placed. Counterpoint said:

“HONOR has seen considerable growth of its Accessible Flagship sales outside of China over the last few years, with a notable acceleration in 2025 driven by the 400 series which showcased significant camera, battery and AI feature upgrades over the 200 Series. This growth was driven by Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa, Latin America and Europe, where, when comparing the first three quarters of availability, sales of the HONOR 400 Series increased by 333%, 319%, 215% and 107% respectively, versus the 200 Series.”

It will be interesting to see whether the teasers HONOR has shared will actually be perceived by users as large enough upgrades over the 400 Series to buy the new devices.
