iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, and tvOS 12.2 betas are now available

Earlier this week, Apple released bug fix updates for all of its operating systems, and that can only mean one thing: it"s time for new beta software. Today, the firm released developer betas for new minor updates, including iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, and tvOS 12.2.

The biggest change is that Apple News will now be available in Canada, which will be supported in both French and English. This is included in today"s builds, although Apple noted that the publications available now are not all of the ones that will be available at launch.

Of course, there are also some known issues to be aware of. You might be unable to purchase a prepaid data plan while connected to cellular data, so you"ll have to connect to Wi-Fi and do it. You also might have trouble authenticating Wallet with TouchID. Siri isn"t working in the Simulator, and that"s a known issue across the board.

The only known issue for the macOS beta is that web pages might not work in Safari, although the workaround is to use the following command in Terminal (you might lose your Safari settings if you run this):

defaults delete com.apple.Safari

As you can see, there"s not a whole lot that"s new, although that could change in later builds. These updates will probably be finalized around the March timeframe.
