Nintendo announces Daemon X Machina at its E3 presentation

Nintendo is the last company to hold a major presentation at E3 this year, and it started off its Nintendo Direct with a trailer for Daemon X Machina.

The trailer doesn"t dive deep into the mechanics of how the game will play, but it does show a series of fights between robots of various shapes and sizes, some of which seem to be gigantic and wreaking havoc on their surroundings. The trailer shows a variety of environments, from cities to deserts, and it seems the player is able to fly to approach the larger enemies.

Details on the story or the game"s setting weren"t provided, with the trailer focusing on the fast-paced action of the fights.

Daemon X Machina is being developed by Marvelous Entertainment and is built on Unreal Engine 4, but an exact release date was not announced, with the trailer providing a vague 2019 time frame. Nintendo should make more details available over the coming months.
