Nintendo is showing off more indie titles for the Switch next week

Just this Monday, Nintendo aired a presentation aimed at the European market, highlighting a few upcoming games from independent developers coming to the Switch. This included the surprise release of three titles on that same day, along with release dates for many others. However, the company seems to have even more in the works.

The official Twitter page for Nintendo of America tweeted earlier today about another upcoming event, a Nindies Showcase, which is going live on August 28 at 9 am Pacific Time. According to the tweet, "multiple" unannounced titles will be showcased at the event, though no specifics were given. The presentation that was published earlier this week already shed light on a number of titles, such as Night Call, Streets of Rogue, Moonlighter, and many more, so it will be interesting to see what else the company has up its sleeve.

Nintendo has paid a lot of attention to indie titles with the Nintendo Switch, and there have been a number of presentations like this in the past. Thanks to those efforts, many games from independent developers have made or are making their way to the system, including a few from Devolver Digital alone. Sales numbers for the console have been looking pretty good, so the strategy seems to be paying off.

If you"d like to watch the upcoming Nindies Showcase, you can do it at Nintendo"s official website come August 28. If you missed this week"s presentation, you can watch on its official YouTube channel.
