OnePlus serves up delicious Pie to OnePlus 6 owners

Android 9.0 Pie is currently only available for a handful of devices. Google"s Pixel line and the Essential PH-1 are the outliers but are now joined by the OnePlus 6.

After seeding numerous betas, OnePlus announced through its forums that the new update would be rolling out to handsets. The latest update to OxygenOS will come in at version 9.0. Going forward, the firm has opted to give its updates a numerical value based on the numerical version of Android. Previously it had assigned a version number keeping with its own methods.

As you can imagine, there are plenty of new features and improvements to the OS when compared to its predecessor. You can see the full list of changes that OxygenOS 9.0 brings down below.

The update is now currently rolling out over-the-air (OTA) and will be distributed in waves. So if you have yet to receive it, be patient.
