The Epic Games Store has returned with more freebies, as its weekly promotion has just refreshed. Last week"s RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition and Voidwrought offers have just gone away, and to replace them, copies of River City Girls 2 and I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream have already landed. As always, the game is yours to add permanently to your Epic Games Store library within the next seven days.
From the duo, I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a point-and-click adventure game based on a short story by Harlan Ellison of the same name. The post-apocalyptic title takes place in a reality where a supercomputer that wiped out humanity except for five survivors it keeps alive to torture. You control each survivor through scenarios based on their pasts.
"Buried deep within the center of the earth, trapped in the bowels of an insane computer for the past hundred and nine years," reads the description. "Gorrister the suicidal loner, Benny the mutilated brute, Ellen the hysterical phobic, Nimdok the secretive sadist, Ted the cynical paranoid."
Meanwhile, River City Girls 2 lands as a sequel to the original beat-’em-up game, and this time, protagonists Misako and Kyoko are back to fight through a city map to defeat the Sabu crime syndicate. The pixel art title features an expanded roster of playable characters, combo-based combat, and co-op multiplayer support.

With nonlinear gameplay, character-specific VO, and another epic soundtrack by Megan McDuffee, River City Girls 2 will keep you brawling until all your enemies yell "BARF," says developer WayForward.
The River City Girls 2 and I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream giveaways will be available until July 9 on the Epic Games Store, giving PC gamers seven days to claim the latest offer. Once this closes out, new freebies will take their place on the same day as always.
