Samsung Galaxy S10 5G set for launch in the UK on June 7

Samsung confirmed earlier this year that its Galaxy S10 5G model would arrive in the UK sometime in June as part of its broader European launch. Today, the South Korean tech giant announced that the device will be officially coming to the country on June 7, to be supported by the EE and Vodafone networks at first.

However, it may take about a month before the phone will be able to connect to Vodafone"s 5G network as the British carrier"s next-generation cellular network connectivity won"t be going live in at least seven UK cities until July 3. Vodafone"s 5G services will initially become available across Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, and London.

Meanwhile, EE previously confirmed that it will be rolling out its 5G network across the country in the second half of 2019. It will go live first in Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, and Manchester as part of the first phase. Later this year, its coverage is set to expand to Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, and Bristol.

In addition to its EE and Vodafone availability, the Galaxy S10 5G will, of course, go on sale via Samsung"s physical and online stores as well. It will come in Majestic Black and Crown Silver color variants, with pre-orders set to begin on May 22.
