With the weekend fast approaching, Microsoft is back with another Free Play Days promotion. This time, three games are available for Xbox players, and they"re all from the same family. All three offers are Pac-Man titles, and they are available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and Core members to try for no extra cost.
"Pac-Man is one of the most recognizable icons in all of gaming, and 2025 is the year of "Make ImPACt" for Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary," says Microsoft. "To celebrate 45 amazing years, we’re making it easier than ever to chomp into these great Pac-Man titles."
From the trio, Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a remake of the 1999 experience, offering updated visuals, smoother controls, and refined gameplay. The title has you guiding Pac-Man through a 3D platforming adventure on Ghost Island on a mission to rescue his kidnapped family from the aptly named Pac-imposter, Toc-Man. The usual Ghosts are back as enemies, too.
Next, Pac-Man Museum+ is a collection of classic games from the franchise. It comes touting titles from 40 years of Pac-Man games, letting players experience them via a virtual arcade, including everything from the original Pac-Man to spin-offs and later multiplayer games.
Lastly, Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is a fully multiplayer player-versus-player entry into the universe. Up to 64 Pac-Man contestants go through a massive gauntlet while eating pellets, ghosts, and even other players to become the last one standing in a shrinking arena for battle royale action.
Here are the announced games:
- PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC - $7.49 (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ - $9.99 (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)
- PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs - $4.99 (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
This Free Play Days promotion will end on Sunday, August 24, at 11:59 pm PT.
