Weekend PC Game Deals: Wage Total War for free and expand your simulators

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

The giveaway train of the Epic Games Store switched to a double offering this week, bringing in a selection touting Total War: Warhammer and City of Brass. If you"ve been diligently collecting freebies every week, you will find City of Brass already in your Epic library from way back in 2019.

Creative Assembly"s Total War: Warhammer kicked off the turn-based strategy and real-time tactics series that saw its third entry launch just last month. The title offers an overworld 4X campaign and puts you into battles to command thousands of troops and monsters from Warhammer fantasy.

Meanwhile, City of Brass is a 2018-released dungeon crawler by indie studio Uppercut Games. Here you"ll be exploring and fighting through procedurally generated parts of a city themed after the Arabian Nights folk tales.

The two giveaways will be available to claim until Thursday April 7, which is when the next freebie duo, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Rogue Legacy, will take over the giveaway slot.

Humble Bundle put forth a brand-new collection quite late this week, and it"s one filled with Killing Floor. The three-tier bundle carries all games from the cooperative franchise plus a whole host of DLC packs.

The first tier offers the classic Killing Floor and four DLC packs for the game with only a $1 price tag. Going up a tier by paying the current average price will net you a copy of Killing Floor 2, the VR entry Killing Floor Incursion, along with more packs of DLCs. With the games already bundled, the third tier is only DLC, with the complete bundle offering 17 addons in addition to the three games.

The Humble Killing Floor Collection Bundle has a three-week expiry countdown attached to it, so you have plenty of time to decide if you want more cooperative games in your library.

Free Events

You can jump into Call of Duty multiplayer this weekend for free thanks to a week-long event by Activision. The latest entry Vanguard is what"s on offer, with two maps from the new season, as well as several older maps via a dedicated free playlist. The free event lasts through April 13 and is accessible via the Battle.net client.

Meanwhile on Steam, the sandbox contraption builder TerraTech is currently free-to-play, where you can design and build vehicles from simple cars to tanks and jets with any design being allowed. Both single-player and multiplayer are available, with the free event ending on April 5.

Of course, there are an enormous number of other deals ready and waiting if you comb through the interwebs hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
