Thanks Wickedkitten who saw on Lockergnome that there is talk of Winamp 2.9 soon, in a week or so in fact.. and its not speculation, its right from Justin"s .plan

Well, here is the plan: We release Winamp 2.9 with a lot of the bulk functionality that we have in Winamp 3 (video and media library support being two of them)..."and heres me thinking the obvious move forward was to ditch 2.x and concentrate on 3.x series of Winamp, but I moved to Windows Media Player after 8.0 so I guess I don"t really know, I do remember people trying to convince me that Winamp3 wasn"t "Winamp" but a "totally new thing" well yea, Windows Media Player 7.0 was new to me from 6.4 too hehe...
