You can now make a pit stop when using Google Maps navigation on iOS

Google released an update to Google Maps for iOS today, solving an age old problem: what happens if you have multiple destinations?

We"ve all been there. We"re traveling from one point to another to another. Why do we have to make two completely different trips in our GPS? It"s 2016, not 2006.

Luckily, Google Maps for iOS now allows users to add multiple destinations. Once you start up a trip, you"ll see the magnifying glass icon in the top right. Tap it and you can select from gas stations, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, or you can search for your own stop.

Google didn"t stop with multiple destinations. They also included a feature that allows the user to use 3D Touch to get directions home or to work.

As with most updates, they also added bug fixes to the changelog. Nevertheless, you can now finally input multiple stops into Google Maps for iOS.
