I'm thinking it's going to be about 1800 dollars. I just got a 24 inch Dell LCD and I hope it will cost that much so I know I did not make a big mistake. Got mine for $750.

I don't know what major differences they can do to the lower end models. Possibly more connections and compatability with vista. I have a 2005fpw and I paid a pretty dime for it, but I don't see how it could get better. I'm getting prepared to buy a HDTV.

I can't understand 30 inches for a monitor, i've used 24 inches and it's rediculous in itself. If your buying a 30 inch monitor, you have to be able to afford to upgrade your video cards every few months as well.

Good...God....

You know, I'm so thankful that Dell has more or less led the push of high-quality, low-price LCDs. Before Dell started selling LCDs, everything was still far more expensive. My $900 Sony 18" LCD, and everything else, plummeted when Dell started selling its 1800fps back in the day. Now, Dell alone has 24"+ monitors for less than $1k, with quick reponse times and sleek looks to boot.

Kaffra, with 2x 7800 gtx you may be able to play modern games decently, but thoes cards will be outdated in seconds if your using a resolution as high as this monitors. Games that come out in 1 year or 6 months or whatever wouldn't be abel to get good fps on this monitor with 2x 7800 gtx.

Maybe the 512 editions, can't say for myself though.

how do the specs compare to the 2005fpw? which one would have better image quality?

i was thinking of buying the 24" 2005fpw, should i wait for this?

You mean the 2405FP. You'd also need dual-link DVI support, which is only available on NVIDIA Quadro cards for example.

    • This is weird. Mythos is more unrestricted compared to Fable. Technically it poses more risk!!
    • This is a great thing, I always have issues with Verizon while inside of certain football stadiums due to the saturation and walls blocking signal so a LOS way to connect would be great. Verizon was supposed to be offering sat data this year but I've not heard a word of it lately. Dude is sending rockets into space in a cheap manner, low waste foot print and has a great product with solar/battery tech. We would be so far behind China right now if not for him and a push to get back into space.
    • illegally? Proof of that? Seems you are posting misinformation or well a pure straight up lie cause there is zero proof of such a thing. But I get it...
